2011 KTM XC-F Wanting to expand on its cross-country racing offerings, KTM released the 250 and 350 XC-F motorcycles for 2011.
The KTM XC F models, which will be available in January, are based on the 250 and 350 SX-F motorcycles, but are designed with components to enhance cross-country racing, especially the AMA GNCC series.
The 250 and 350 XC-F feature SX-F style frames, including linkage rear suspension and the most current generation SX-F engine including EFI and electric start.
KTM says both XC-F motorcycles will have a 6-speed transmission, an 18" rear wheel, open hand guards and a side stand. Both models will also receive the larger 2.51 gallon off-road tank compared to the 1.98 gallon tank on the SX-F models.
The XC-F models were released last Friday during a press launch at Cahuilla Creek MX Park.
The off-road motorcycles were introduced to the public by the Factory FMF/KTM GNCC Team of Kailub Russell, Cory Buttrick and Charlie Mullins.
All three riders will be racing the 350 XC-F in the 2011 GNCC Series.
